Paul McCreery


Paul McCreery was inducted into the THPA Hall of Fame in 2010 becoming the 38th Member to be inducted.


Paul has been a member of THPA since 1987. During his 23 years, he has made many friends in the game, and enjoys pitching horseshoes for the love of the game. He has brought recognition to the State of Texas through his extraordinary pitching performances at World Tournaments. He has also pitched sanction tournaments in Oklahoma, Ohio, Louisiana, and Florida all of which he demonstrated the high caliber of pitching we have in the State of Texas. Paul was also a top A Class pitcher before he moved into the Elders class where he became one of the dominant pitchers in this division. Below are listed some of Paul's accomplishments during his membership in THPA.


1.  Won 5 THPA Elders Championships (Tie for most Elders Championships)

    2002, 2003, 2004, 2008, and 2009. His average for these 5 tournaments was 75.6%.


2.  Won two World Elders Championships

    2004 (76.41%) and 2005 (77.10%)


3.   Pitched in 10 World Horseshoe Tournament


 4.   At time of his nomination, Paul's 2010 average was 76.39% (currently 7th in the world)
